The family

My story.
Their story.
One day, yours.

This site started as a travel blog in 2011. A young Italian guy who quit his job at Google, packed a bag, and went to see the world. These are the stories I don't want to forget. And one day the stories you'll add yourself.

A note, for when you're old enough to read this

You'll find a lot of things on this site that will probably surprise you. Your dad eating street food off a newspaper in Mandalay. Getting thrown out of a monastery in Myanmar after a rum session. Spending three weeks fishing, hiking and getting lost across Southeast Asia with nothing but a backpack and no real plan.

I built this so you could read it one day and understand something about who I was before I was your dad. What I valued. What made me happy. What kind of people I gravitated toward everywhere I went.

The credo at the top of the homepage isn't there for decoration. I genuinely tried to live by it every single day on the road. I hope one day you will too.

And when you're ready — add your own chapter. This page is waiting for you.
